Molteni Phoenix Garden Coffee Table

The Molteni &C Phoenix coffee table by Vincent Van Duysen has a minimal and contemporary style with a large low table top and available in two sizes, perfect for versatile, intimate or convivial outdoor living spaces.

Part of the Phoenix range which includes sofas and chair, these coffee tables pick up on the aesthetic motifs of the rest of the collection such as the burnished aluminium band, profiles and rounded corners. The support bases, obtained from the continuous run of the same band, are set back from the top to make it visually lighter, as if suspended. 

For the table top you can choose from teak slats or Etna lava stone with an enamelled finish in either anthracite, olive green and desert yellow, which are the same colours used in the Phoenix range for the woven seat backs and armrests on the chairs and sofas. The vitreous inserts of the Etna lava stone, used for the oven-baked enamelling of the surfaces, come from the crushing of recycled glass from TV and PC monitors.

Phoenix is part of the wider Molteni & C Timeout collection in which metal is the predominant material used but softened by the use of intertwined ropes for the backrests weaving a story where "timeout" becomes a well-deserved reconciliation break with outdoor spaces.
