The Molteni &C Guell Sun lounger by Vincent Van Duysen is the ultimate in garden living, the archetype par excellence of outdoor furniture and featuring elements from the wider Timeout Garden Collection including the burnished painted aluminium band which runs along the entire profile and the option of a woven rope backrest.
There are two different versions of sun lounger to choose from, one made entirely of solid teak slats, or one with a beautiful woven backrest in handmade anthracite polypropylene rope in a style reminiscent of the Mediterranean tradition of baskets and panniers. The wooden slats are the same width as those of the garden dining table supporting that refined interplay of dimensional recurrences that links the products of the same collection or between the two families of outdoor furniture; Timeout & Landmark.
The backrest is fully adjustable for different reclining positions. Lightweight and easy to move around thanks to the large rear wheel fitted to the backrest. To ensure maximum safety, the wheel is positioned barely suspended, being activated only when the sunbed is raised.
For the optional sun lounger mattress the covers are available in several categories of fabric including the Musco collection developed in collaboration with Limonta Spa and selected by Marta Ferri. Musco offers seven different monochrome or striped jacquard and bouclé yarns inspired by shades of nature which can be combined to match or contrast each other. You can also provide your own fabric subject to approval by Molteni.
